Terms of Service
Last updated: April 4, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlanForVisa website and services operated by PlanForVisa ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our service, you agree to these Terms. In short: we write business plans, not legal advice. You own your plan. If USCIS cites plan deficiencies, you get a full refund.
1. Service Description
PlanForVisa is a document preparation service. We generate immigration-grade business plans based on information you provide, enriched with publicly available market data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and similar sources.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our service. By placing an order, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of all information entered in the intake questionnaire. Your business plan is only as accurate as the data you provide.
- You must review the completed business plan before submitting it to USCIS, a consular office, or any government agency. You bear sole responsibility for all content submitted in your immigration application.
- We strongly recommend having a licensed immigration attorney review your plan before filing.
4. Disclaimer of Legal Services
PlanForVisa provides business plan writing services. We do not provide legal advice. We are not a law firm, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by using our service. We do not:
- Advise on which visa type to apply for.
- Determine or represent whether you qualify for any visa.
- Assist with completing immigration forms.
- Represent you before USCIS, consular officers, or any government body.
- Guarantee any immigration outcome.
Immigration outcomes are determined solely by the U.S. government. Consult an immigration attorney for legal guidance.
5. Orders and Payment
- Pricing is displayed on our website. Payment is collected after you complete the intake questionnaire.
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
- Your plan will be delivered within the timeframe specified for your selected tier — within 48 hours for Essential, within 24 hours for Professional.
6. Revisions
- Revision rounds are included per your selected tier (2 rounds for Essential, unlimited for Professional).
- Revisions cover changes to tone, wording, factual corrections, and financial assumption adjustments within the same business scope.
- Changing the business type, location (different metro area), or applicant constitutes a new plan, not a revision.
7. Refund Policy
If USCIS or a U.S. consulate cites problems with your business plan, you get a full refund. The conditions:
- Your plan received a Request for Evidence (RFE) from USCIS, a consular refusal, or a 221(g) administrative processing notice from a U.S. embassy or consulate.
- The RFE, refusal, or notice specifically cites business plan deficiencies.
- The plan was submitted as delivered — no changes were made to the text, financials, or supporting data we provided.
- The filing occurred within 90 days of plan delivery.
To request your refund, email support@planforvisa.com with documentation of the RFE, refusal, or 221(g) notice.
For other refund requests, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We review each request on a case-by-case basis.
8. Intellectual Property
- Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the business plan generated for you in connection with your immigration application.
- We retain ownership of our templates, methodologies, and proprietary systems used to generate business plans.
- You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the generated plan.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Immigration documents are sensitive — we encrypt data in transit and at rest, use signed URLs for document access, and do not log personally identifiable information.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanForVisa and its officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to visa denials, RFEs, delays, or any immigration outcome.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific plan in question.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PlanForVisa harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from (a) your use of the service, (b) inaccurate information you provided, or (c) your violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
